Salted Tahini Miso Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup runny tahini

  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar 

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup 

  • 1 tsp vanilla paste 

  • 1 tbsp miso 

  • 1 tbsp HANAH ONE

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/3 cup cacao powder 

  • 1 tbsp almond flour 

  • 1 tsp baking soda 

  • 1/2 tsp salt 

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, I used Hu Kitchen Gems

    For Tahini drizzle

  • 1/4 cup tahini

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup


    Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 8 x 8 baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large bowl mix tahini, coconut sugar, maple syrup, vanilla paste, miso, eggs and HANAH ONE until batter is smooth. Sift in the cocoa powder, almond flour and baking soda and mix until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips into the batter.

Spread brownie batter into prepared baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Cool brownies on a cooling rack. Slice and top with tahini drizzle and flakey sea salt.
